Written objections to the proposal can be submitted to the Planning & Development department of Scottish Borders Council. Letters of objection should confine themselves to legitimate planning concerns and criteria which include:

• Visual intrusion
• Significant and undesirable impact on the character of the landscape
• High visibility from protected landscape
• Adverse impact on wildlife and habitat
• Loss of Amenity to walkers and riders
• Noise concerns and related health issues
• Effects on local tourist business and local employment
